1834. NGC graded MS-65. Lovely hues of violet centers radiating outward to electric blue iridescense on both sides. The surfaces are slightly reflective which further adds to its beauty. Capped Bust Half Dollars from the 1807-36 period rarely surface in Gem condition. Almost none were saved at the time (survival was therefore hit-or-miss), and the few nice ones that do appear are quickly put away again by astute buyers. Pop 56; 20 finer with 16 in 66, 4 in 67.
