Columbian World's Fair, Chicago, 1892-1893. Fantastic Framed Display of Admission Tickets. Includes six pass tickets,classic examples engraved by the American Banknote Company, with portrait vignettes of: George Washington, Handel, Ben Franklin, Columbus, Abe Lincoln, and an Indian chief in war bonnet. An addition, there are examples each of a Children's Special Ticket, a Single Day ticket, a Chicago Day ticket, and a Manhattan Day ticket, the last two with ticket stubs attached. Not framed, an additional ticket bearing Lincoln's portrait. Tickets appear to be pristine, sharply printed, with clean bright colors. Frame size: 15-1/8" x 17-1/4".
