Lot 121

1847 N-29 R3- PCGS graded MS63 Red & Brown. Frosty mint red fading to light olive brown with subtle overtones of bluish steel. About 25% of the obverse shows mint color while over two-thirds of the reverse shows bright mint red. A hint of slightly darker toning shows at STA and on the lower half of the E in AMERICA. A tiny, barely visible tick on the lower right point of star 12 can help identify this cent. LDS, die state d, with fine die cracks through the reverse legend. Our grade is MS62, CC#4 for the die variety in the Grellman census. The attribution and Iskra provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 1 finer in 65 for the variety at PCGS. Estimated Value $1,000-UP
