1808 C-3 R1 PCGS graded AU55. Glossy light olive and steel brown with frosty golden tan in protected areas. Flowline luster covers the fields and protected areas. The only notable marks are a diagonal streak of darker toning from the shoulder into the field under the chin where it fades away and small rim bruise over the second S in STATES. MDS, Manley state 3.0. A halo-like aura has formed around the portrait and a shallow depression has formed between the I and T in UNITED. The fine die crack from the stem of the berry left of C in CENT to the leaf below has not formed. The reverse is now rotated 150 degrees CCW. Our grade is EF40. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 5; 5 finer, 1 in 58, 2 in 62, 1 in 63, 1 in 64+ for the variety. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP
