1794 S-31 R1 PCGS graded MS63 Brown. Lustrous light chocolate and steel brown with a hint of reddish brown toning inside the wreath. The only marks are a vertical nick near the hair left of the eye and a few tiny planchet chips (as struck) at ITED. LDS, Breen state II. The chips in the field under the cap are prominent and traces of fine die rust are visible on the reverse. A very attractive cent with just a hint of friction on the highest points of the hair. Our grade is AU58. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label.
