1853-D. PCGS graded MS-61. A bold deep impression, bright and glittering with luster. All untoned and quite flashy. There are about 125 examples known from a mintage of only 6,583 struck. This is one of the finer examples and should see high demand as not many Mint State examples become available. The surfaces are pleasing for the grade assigned. Pop 7; 16 finer at PCGS.
