1851-D. PCGS graded MS-61. Boldly struck and needle sharp. Some faint ghosting check marks noted on the reverse as made. Well frosted on Liberty's head and this produces a semi-cameo appearance. The surfaces are nice for the grade assigned, and this splendid coin would make a welcome purchase for any advanced collection. Brilliant and untoned. Only 9,882 struck. Pop 7; 23 finer at PCGS.
