1863. NGC graded Proof 66. CAC. PQ. Lovely pastel rainbow toning on both sides. The centers and most of the fields are bright silver with a gentle layer of old toning, the reverse a bit deeper with a pleasing blue shade dominating that side. Struck during the depths of the Civil War, with only 460 coined in proof. Pop 12; 8 finer at NGC. Value $4,500 - UP
