1807 C-1 R1 Repunched 7 PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved. Frosty medium steel brown with tan faded down from mint color in protected areas on the reverse. The only marks are a fine pinscratch on the neck, a tiny planchet flake at the dentils left of the lowest curl (as struck), and a dull nick on the A in STATES. Just a hint of rub on the highest points from mint state. M-LDS, Manley state 3.0 early, with the reverse rotated 10 degrees clockwise. Weak traces of dentils remain visible on the obverse while at least a third of the reverse shows dentils. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Green Tree Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 6; 5 finer, 3 in 62, 1 in 63+, 1 in 64 for the variety. Estimate Value $1,000 - UP
