1847 N-15 R4+ Repunched 1 & 7 PCGS graded AU58, CAC Approved. Frosty golden light olive and tan with a hint of reddish tan toning at the earlobe. Sharpness mint state but there are numerous microscopic ticks scattered over both sides. None of the marks is significant but there are too many to ignore. Sharply struck MDS die state a late. The fine die lines and repunching on the 1 & 7 are all clear, and the fields show microscopic radial die flowlines. Our grade is MS60 sharpness net AU50 and tied for CC#7 in the Grellman census. The attribution and Iskra provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 2 finer in 64 for the variety at PCGS. Estimated Value $400-UP
