1865. PCGS graded Proof 66 Cameo. Only 500 minted. A hint of light gold tone on the obverse with a few traces of russet near the rims, then turning to the reverse an explosion of deep blue and russet toning surrounds and frames the eagle. Add to this the Cameo contrast and the boldly reflective fields for additional eye appeal. Then for the frosting on the cake take in the exceptional surface quality and you have coin that has unlimited potential for enjoyment. Pop 7; 2 finer, 1 in 66+, 1 in 67 (PCGS # 86419) .
