1847 N-8 R3 PCGS graded MS62 Brown. Frosty medium brown and light chocolate with slightly darker steel brown toning on the highpoints of the devices. Satiny mint luster shows in the protected areas on both sides. There are a few light nicks on the cheek and a couple small spots of darker toning on the reverse, including a tiny one inside the bottom of the N in ONE and a slightly larger one over the left top of the M in AMERICA. MDS, die state b, with a fine die crack at ME in addition to the earlier one from S-O through the wreath to RI. Our grade is AU55. The attribution and Iskra provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 4 finer, 1 in 64, 1 in 64+, 2 in 65 for the variety at PCGS. Estimated Value $300-UP
