1794 S-70 R2 F15. Sharpness VF35 but there is shallow corrosion in the field behind the portrait and similar roughness from the D in UNITED to the O in OF. The remainder of the planchet is smooth with just traces of verdigris in a few of the protected areas, and there are no significant marks. Mostly glossy dark steel and olive brown. Sharply struck MDS, Breen state II. The die crack at TY extends down into the cheek where it fades away and there are fine die clashmarks on both sides. Estimated Value $500-UP
