1652 Massachusetts Pine Tree Threepence Noe-36 R4. PCGS graded EF-45. Glossy dark gray with lighter silvery gray highpoints. The planchet is smooth but shows obvious small waves. Nonetheless, the legends are complete and very strong on both sides. Struck with the obverse slightly off to K-10 and the reverse off a bit to K-1 causing a few letters to be tight to the edge. Weight listed as 17.6 grains on the PCGS label. PCGS population 6 with 22 finer.
