Original pen and ink sketch of Sam I Am holding aloft a platter with two green eggs and ham titled and signed "Ham and Green Eggs / Dr. Seuss," 6 x 5¼ in. Black and white except for the green egg yolks. Green Eggs and Ham was published in 1960 using a vocabulary of only 50 words. It is the third best-selling book in the English language. Archivally matted and framed to an overall size of 16 x 15¼ in.
