$10 National Bank Note. Ansonia NB, Ansonia, CT. Ch. 1093. Fr. 616. PMG Very Fine 20. This was the only bank to charter in town, having done so in 1865, and would continue throughout the entire National Banking era. This is the only Date Back Ten known on the bank, with a single $20 also known out of the 20 large notes currently reported. Stamped signatures of Frederick Drew as Cashier and Charles F. Brooker as President, who served together from 1915 through 1918. No 1902 notes have been offered at auction since 2008. Estimated Value $500 - UP
