1855 N-4 R1 Upright 55 PCGS graded MS64 Red. Bright lustrous mint red mellowing to light steel brown on the highpoints with 80% of the obverse and 90% of the reverse showing bright original mint color. This cent would be a gem except for traces of an old fingerprint on the face and neck and a tiny vertical nick on the truncation over the 8. LDS, die state c, with a strong rim cud break over the E in STATES. Our grade is MS64, second finest of the die state in the Grellman census. Estimate Value $1,500 - UP
