$1 National Bank Note. Second NB of Fall River, MA. Ch. 439. Fr. 384. PMG Choice Fine 15, tears. Chartered in May 1864, this institution would be liquidated in February 1903 after issuing just over $1.4 Million in national bank notes. Today only 13 notes are recorded, with more than half of those Aces. This is the only 1875 Ace in the census, with the widely seen "New England Trim". Great colors on both sides of the note, with pen signatures of Charles J. Holmes as Cashier and S. Angier Chace as President. Estimated Value $500 - UP
