$1 National Bank Note. Second NB, Fall River, MA. Ch. 439. Fr. 380a. This bank was originally called Wamsutta Bank and issued notes, now called Obsoletes, before chartering in 1864 and taking Second National as their name. The bank would issue First Charter and Brown Back notes before being liquidated in February 1903. This well circulated Ace has some paper loss along the edges, but the pen signatures still remain.
