A very sharply struck mint state cent that was dipped long ago and has retoned frosty golden tan and medium brown blending to light chocolate on the devices with traces of darker olive brown in protected areas on the reverse. The best identifying mark is a puff of darker toning between the brow lock and star 5. Very early die state (VEDS), die state a early, with die lines covering much of the lower half of the obverse. The multiple repunching on the 1's is sharp. A nice example of a neat die state. Estimate Value $300 - UP
