1828 Coronet Head Cent. . N-1, R1. VF-30. Sharpness EF40 or slightly better with too many light contact marks for the sharpness. No roughness or verdigris. A nick over the 2 in the date, some more on the neck, and a couple fine hairline scratches on the neck are the notable marks. Glossy chocolate and steel brown with frosty luster remaining in protected areas. MDS.
