Obverse for the six denominations have the King facing left. Reverse: For the Crown the reverse has a Maori chief and Captain Hobson shaking hands under a crown, WAITANGI in exergue. The Halfcrown reverse Designer; Florin - Kiwi bird; Shilling - Maori warrior; Sixpence- Hula bird; Threepence - Crossed Patu. Mintage of only 364 sets.
