Lot 522

Coca-Cola, Two Antique Calendars: 1921 "Autumn Girl and the 1925 "Girl At Party". Two 1920s vintage original Coca-Cola calendars:
1.) The 1921 "Autumn Girl" calendar with the model illustrated in a lovely upscale garden setting. Note also a bottle to her left on display atop the estate's elegant bench, eliminating the need for two different versions of the same calendar (only displaying a bottle or a glass) as was done several times in previous years. Calendar is in fair to good condition with roll creases throughout, no metal strips, some silverfish damage (one tiny section in litho, but certainly in lower right corner of calendar pad). Further the poster exhibits fading primarily the pink and rose tones. 32 x 12" and framed to 34 x 14".
2.) 1925, "Girl At Party" dressed to the nines wearing a blue turban, a white fox stole, and holding a glass of Coca-Cola. Examined in frame, calendar is without metal strips, however the full pad of calendar pages are intact. Condition of lithograph is fine with the barest minimum of creasing or border chips. However we note a slight fading of pink tones in the face and dress yet it still displays nicely. 24¼ x 11¾" handsomely framed to 29 x 16½". Estimated Value $300 - UP
From The Private Collection of James Harrison Ring.
