Coca-Cola Antique 1911 Calendar "The Coca-Cola Girl", Illustrated by Hamilton King. The first known Coca-Cola calendar was issued by the company in 1891. But by the first decade of the 20th Century the company copyrighted stunning images of popular, beautiful models and entertainers and enlisted some of the finest printers using stone lithography in the nations. Antique calendars are some of the most prized treasures by collectors due to how rare most are and certainly how beautiful. Rare 1911 calendar illustrated by Hamilton King, "The Coca-Cola Girl" of a young woman wearing a large hat with roses projecting the wholesome branding Coca-Cola preferred. Lithograph was printed on a linen finished paper making for a richly textured image. Calendar is in very good condition. We note both top and bottom strips are missing, flecking, a white stain, several horizontal creases especially above calendar and some edge tears all minimized by professional backing on card stock. Calendar appears to have full pad and certainly superb, vibrant colors. 17¾ x 10" and framed to 24 x 17". A fine addition to any collection and displays nicely. Estimated Value $900 - UP
