1856 N-18 R1 Italic 5 PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Frosty golden tan. An attractive cent with lustrous fields and just a few minor marks including a dull nick on the bust tip into the top of the 18, a speck of dark toning at the top of star 13, and another spot just right of the top of the E in ONE. MDS, die state b. The lines at the throat are dull but visible and the fields are flowlined. Our grade is MS60, tied for CC#13 in the Grellman census. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 3; 1 finer in 65+. Estimated Value $400 - UP
