1856 N-17 R2 Italic 5 PCGS graded AU55. Glossy light to medium brown blending to chocolate brown in protected areas. Smooth and attractive. The only marks are some microscopic planchet chips on the rim over star 7. E-MDS, die state b. The early die lines from the hair bun are gone but the fine die lines over MERI are clear. Our grade is EF40. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 1; 6 finer: 1 in 62, 1 in 63, 2 in 64, 2 in 65. Estimated Value $100 - UP
