British Royalty: King George V, Appointment Signed and King George VI and a Portrait Photo Signed by then Prince Albert of York. King George V (1865-1936) King of the United Kingdom and the British Dominions, and Emperor of India, from 1910 until his death in 1936. Beautiful appointment to Brooks Henry George Street dated June 1918, to "nominate and award to be a Companion of Our Imperial Service Order" an award of excellence for outstanding members of the British Civil Service throughout the Empire. 15 x 9¾" twice folded, minor evidence of handling and boasting a large signature of the monarch in the upper left corner as George R.I. Spectacular blind embossing with colors and affixed fabric dominates the order and displays beautifully.

Silver nitrate portrait print on stock by C. Vandyk Ltd, London 8 x 5½". Signed "Albert" and dated 15.10.22 excellent condition and a striking portrait.
