Emmy Award With Recipient's Name Plaque Removed. Emmy award, which is a gold-colored statuette of a winged woman holding an atom. Approximately 11½ inches in height; base is 5 5/8 inches in diameter. Made by R.S. Owens. Engraved around the top of the base is "The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences." The Emmy is to television production what the Oscar is to film and the Grammy is to music. NATAS recognizes daytime, sports, news and documentary programming, technology, business, regional and global media awards. Housed in a custom-made box with the black and gold R.S. Owens symbol on the top. Excellent condition.
