Great Britain. Gift of Maundy Money, 1833. The Maundy ceremony, a gift presented to Mrs. Bruce of London. April 16th, 1834 by command of his present Majesty. William IV, 1830-1837, born on 21 August, 1765. This lot consist of Fourpences (3 pieces), threepences (4 pieces), twopences (7 pieces) and pennies (30 pieces). Totalling 68 pences. The coins given to Mrs. Bruce, total number of pences, equaled the age of the monarch. William IV was 68. Housed in a custom velvet case. All attractively toned. Lot of 44 coins. Almost Uncirculated to Uncirculated.
