Tiffany during the early 1900s are highly prized and are an enduring legacy of the artistic and creative genius of Louis Comfort Tiffany and his artisans. Offered is this extremely appealing lidded inkwell of gilt bronze and glass inlays surrounding with the rosette top in beautiful blue, violet and pink tones giving the appearance of a stained glass window. Stamped on verso Louis C Tiffany Furnaces Inc. with Favrile 305 just below. In overall excellent condition given its 100 years--no chipping to the glass insets surrounding or on top, no dents, the interior of well exceptionally clean however is missing the small interior glass well.
