Michel Delacroix. Two Signed Limited Edition Lithographs "Parade" and "L'Aubade". (born 1933) Extremely popular French artist in the Naïf tradition with colors and a charming simplicity of the boulevards and street corners of Paris. Lot of two limited edition signed lithographs on Arches paper. 1.) L'Aubade, from 1988, which translates to a morning love song and certainly Delacroix has captured that sentiment for Paris in this joyful morning of a band playing, and locals starting their day. 24¾ x 31½" #35/150 and signed in lower right corner by artist. 2.) A smaller lithograph from 1982 wonderfully compliments the first and is called "Parade" or "Le Défilé Du 14 Juillet"` 18 x 24", #140/150 and signed in lower right margin by Delacroix. Both pieces are in excellent condition, have never been framed, and stored for years since purchase in art large art tubes with acid free paper. Estimated Value $500 - UP
