Attica. Athens. 4th & 2nd centuries BC. Lot of two AR Tetradrachms. Both are standard types. Earliest, 4th century BC., a later version of the classic type (Svoronos pl. 19). Other, a New Tetradrachm, c. 154/153 BC., of usual type -- with two monograms and caps of the Dioscuroi (Thompson 61a). First fully struck, on good metal. Second, obverse a little softly struck; metal lightly porous. Lot of 2 coins. Both Very Fine plus.
