Gordian III, 238-244 AD. Lot of 21 AR Antoniniani. All with radiate, draped, and/or cuirassed bust right. Reverses: (A) Gordian in military attire right, holding globe and spear (B) Virtus in military attire left, holding branch and spear (C) Virtus, as previous, but resting hand on shield (D) Pax left, holding up branch (E) Hercules right, resting on club; and lastly (F) Roma seated left on arms. Inspection suggested, for variety of strikes, surfaces and patinas. Lot of 21 coins. Coins range from Fine to Very Fine.
