1847 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. EF-40. Bright and flashy, with slightly reflective fields. The surfaces are problem free aside from a past light cleaning. The strike is very sharp, and the recut 7 is visible with a glass, but the 4 is harder to make out. On the reverse, the doubling is very obvious on QUAR DOL as well as parts of UNITED. Listed in Breen's Encyclopedia as "very rare" and with all the Seated coinage collectors out there, we expect this to bring a healthy and well deserved strong price.
