Manteuffel, Hasso von (1809-85) World War II German tank commander, Panzer Divisions. Typed Letter Signed, one page, 11 x 8¼ in. (Vienna), Mar. 26, 1975. To Mr. Carlton, about Gen.George Patton, "the most talented /able commander in Mobile Warfare" and giving examples of Patton's leadership. He also mentions Rommel, "no successful strategist, but he was a brillant tactician!" Very interesting letter.
