1810 S-284 R3. PCGS graded MS-62 Brown. Lustrous medium chocolate brown and darker olive with lighter frosty brown in protected areas. Satiny mint frost covers this cent and it is choice except for a splash of extremely fine reddish corrosion nestled into the recesses of the hair at the shoulder. The only other notable mark is a tiny rim nick directly above star 8. M-LDS, Breen state III, with dull die clashmarks and weakened dentils on both sides. Graded MS60 net AU55 and tied for CC#4 in the Noyes census, his photo #38514. Bland says MS60 and CC#3 in his census. Our grade is AU58. Comes with a very nice provenance. The attribution and Great Pacific Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. PCGS population 2; 3 finer in 65. (PCGS # 36481) Value $16,000 - UP
