1848 N-5 R4 Second 8 Repunched VF35. Ten points sharper but lightly smoothed and retoned light golden olive blending to light chocolate brown in protected areas. The only mark is a tiny tick in the hair under the right side of star 7. LDS, die state f, with a small but strong rim cud break off the end of the wreath stem. Removed from a PCI slab graded AU55 (PCI label included). CC#11 for the die state in the Grellman census. Estimated Value $100 - UP
