Printed copy of Proclamation of Israel Independence, issued May 14, 1948, signed at lower right, 11 x 8¼", n.p., n.d. With two covers commemorating the American Revolution signed by Begin and Jimmy Carter, with Philadelphia 1975 cancellation and small later-affixed image from 1978 Camp David Accords, plus two pages signed by Begin and Carter from a 1979 Department of State publication showing Begin and Sadat shaking hands after signing the Egyptian-Israeli Peace Treaty.
Also present: a 7 x 5" signed B&W photo; a 1972 TLS to American Congressman Seymour Halpern thanking him for his friendship for Israel, with holograph transmittal envelope; 2 signed Newsweek covers; and several newspaper articles & clippings. Overall fine. Estimate Value $500 - UP
