Reverse: SALVTI AVGVSTI, Salus standing front, head to right, holding serpent in her arms and feeding it from a patera; to right, lighted altar. BMC 3123a note; C-68; RIC 77. Boldly struck on an unusually clean planchet. A very impressive specimen with a fantastic portrait! Delicately toned with some golden luster present. Superb Extremely Fine.
