Islands off Thrace, Thasos. Silver Tetradrachm (17.17 g), ca. 90-75 BC. Wreathed head of young Dionysos right. Reverse: HPAKLEOYΣ ΣΩTHPOΣ ΘAΣIΩN, Herakles standing facing, head left, holding club and lion's skin; to inner left, MH monogram. Le Rider 51; SNG Copenhagen 1040. Some marks in the fields and light porosity on the reverse. Very Fine. Estimate Value $300 - 350
