Miscellaneous, Balance of the Deke Slayton Estate Collection. A diverse lot that includes 1) A FILLED "Jim Beam" (?) Apollo 11 decanter on stand, 2) a 3-D metal/glass commemorative tombstone from the Design South company in appreciation for their having had the opportunity to participate in the design, construction and management of the US Astronaut Hall of Fame, 3) a 1962 West Side Association of Commerce, Inc medallion (in clear lucite) that is inscribed on the reverse: "Presented to NASA in recognition of Distinguished Service to the Nation, 4) a small wood/metal shield presented to "Major D. K. Slayton / Checkout 1 Oct 1963 / T-38 Talon / Ellington AFB / Northrop Corp", 5) a Project Gemini glass ashtray showing the Gemini target vehicle flying over a distorted version of Florida. There is a metal "DS" initial plaque added at the bottom, 6) a wooden baton (12x1.5") with a metal plaque that reads: "Massed in Mid-Air by members of the U.S. Army Parachute Team / Golden Knights, etc. ALSO included are two empty Russian liquor (?) bottles, a Russian metal tube filled with food (?) or maybe glue and a 1989 "We, the People" calender inscribed and signed at the bottom by John Glenn. A diverse and interesting lot.
