1845 N-12 R3+ ANACS graded MS60. Glossy olive brown and steel with mellowed mint red covering about 10% of the obverse; traces of faded mint red are visible on the reverse which is a lighter shade of brown. Looks mint state but there is a hint of rub on the highest points of the portrait. The only marks are two small digs at the second A in AMERICA. M-LDS, die state c, with die cracks on the reverse and a narrow rim cud break from star 3 nearly up to star 4. Our grade is AU58+, tied for CC#9 in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the ANACS label. Estimated Value $200 - UP
