1843 N-4 R1 Obverse of 1842, Reverse of 1844 VF30. Five points sharper with a very light scuff in the field before the tip of the nose. The scuff breaks the attractive glossy medium chocolate brown toning; otherwise it would not show. Essentially flawless otherwise, void of any notable marks. MDS, die state b. The small lump under the 1 is weak and there is a rim cud under the 1. The rim cud is not strong but still visible. Estimated Value $100 - UP
