A splendid gem example with beautiful uniform pale lilac toning on both sides which deepens lightly around the borders. This coin is tied for the fourth finest of the variety according to Steve Herrman's Auction & Mail Bid Prices Realized for Bust Half Dollars 1794 - 1839 "The toning is glorious and rich with old silver shades that offer deep jewel tones when examined under a light. The strike is sharp too, with all of Liberty's curls brought up well along with the eagle's tiny feathers. Early Capped Bust half dollars are seldom found in gem condition, and this offering is certainly something worthy of note." Pop 1; none finer at NGC for the variety. Lot 964		1813 Bust 50C. 50C Over UNI PCGS MS63. PCGS graded MS-63 PQ. Boldly struck with lovely gold and blue toning on both sides. This is a plentiful die marriage but really tough to find this nice and attractive. The surfaces are oustanding and the eye appeal is amazing.
