(1861-65) Civil War Token. NY - A. Gavron - Sausages. Fuld-630AB-4D, Rarity 8. NGC graded MS-65. A brilliant lustrous gem token with only a dark spot at the center of the obverse. Struck with the typical adjusted reverse die of this type, with the "FOR" shifted to the left. A very scarce type and rarely offered. Pop 1; 1 finer in 66.

1863 Civil War Token. NY - Hussey's Message Post. Fuld-630AK-2A, Rarity 3. MS-64 Brown. Nicely toned satiny surfaces with a hint of red color. A very popular rarer type with the marriage of the obverse and reverse, and has to be among the most beautiful designs of the whole series. Pop 10; 4 finer in 65.

1864 Civil War Token. Liberty - Our Army. Fuld-46/335A, Rarity 2. NGC graded MS-66 Red & Brown. Wonderful sharp strike with plenty of original red color and mint luster remaining. Struck from a new obverse die and a lightly worn reverse die, presenting pleasant details on both sides. The obverse shows a hint of overdate at the last two digits, probably 1864 over 1831. A very interesting die variety, and an absolute conditional rarity. Pop 1; none finer at NGC.
