1795. 13 Leaves Below Eagle NGC graded AU Details. Repaired. Only 5,583 minted with merely 400 to 600 examples estimated to have survived. The sensational numismatic design depicted on this piece emits a radiant nostalgic feel of our first large sized gold coin issued in 1795, these circulated widely and most ended up being melted or used in jewelry to commemorate this historic coin issue. A great type coin that is seldom available and always expensive (PCGS # 8551) .

1797. Large Eagle PCGS graded Genuine AU Details. Repaired. Only 10,940 examples struck with merely 200 to 250 examples estimated to have survived. Mostly untoned. While the repair can been seen, this piece has solid eye appeal and is an attractive example of this marvelous type. Always in high collector demand for the type and this one exhibits a lot of definition as well (PCGS # 8559) .

1800. BD-1, High Rarity 3. NGC graded MS-62. Lovely light gold toning with lots of luster. The strike is sharp and this is an early die state with only a minor light crack through the tops of LIBERTY. Considerable mint frost on the central devices and the fields are quite clean for the grade assigned. Only a handful of these exist in such lofty grades, and the vast majority show more handlng and circulation evidence. A regal coin that will be a centerpiece in any advanced set. Pop 16; 12 finer, 8 in 63, 3 in 64, 1 in 65. (PCGS # 8563) .
