1860-D. Large D. PCGS graded AU-55. Untoned with lots of luster evident. This is a rare variety as the vast majority of the 1860-D half eagles show the Medium D reverse. Only a handful have this Large D variation. Our consignor was able to secure two of these rare Large D pieces by diligent searching for many years and we are proud to offer them to the collecting fraternity today.
