1943 Double Die Obverse Minor Variety. PCGS graded MS-63. According to Jaime Hernandez of PCGS, "The 1943 Doubled Die Obverse Washington Quarter is by far the scarcest major doubled die for the entire Washington quarter dollar series. For over twenty years, PCGS has only graded about two dozen 1943 doubled die quarters. Since the coins bring hundreds of dollars even in lower grades, the PCGS population data is a good indicator of this coins scarcity." This rare chance to purchase such a desirable example is an opportunity that will excite the Washington quarter specialists and other numismatists alike. Pop 4; 18 finer, 7 in 64, 4 in 65, 6 in 66, 1 in 67 (PCGS # 5820) Estimated Value $500-UP
