An antique composit Civil War Period British Military percussion carbine, circa. 1840-1850 utilizing older 3rd model East India Company pattern Brown Bess flintlock parts. Lock is marked at the tail of lock plate with the East India Company 'HEART' logo and the date of '1800' and the remnants of what appears to be 'MANTON' (contractor) in front of hammer. A good antique American Civil War U.S. model 1860 cavalry sword dated 1864. 34.75" curved single edge blade made by "Ames Mfg. Co., Chicopee, Mass', and 'J.F.' (Inspector mark) stamped on blade and pommel. Original twisted brass wire over leather covered wood grip with flaking loses. Brass hilt/guard has dark age patina. Blade is well marked with age spotting and approx. 6" of forward end with heavy pitting extending to the tip. An antique British East India Company Pattern 1853 percussion carbine. 24".62 cal. rifled barrel marked with unidentified foriegn proof marks on the left side of breech. Lock stamped on the tail of lock plate with an unidentified foriegn arsenal mark, in good mechanical working order. Brass butt plate, trigger guard, and nose cap; two steel barrel bands. Stock is sound with a repaired (glued) chip on the upper edge of the lock next to the barrel tang, scratches and dings from years of service. 40" overall. Lot 209		Pair of Large Antique Spanish "Navaja" Folding Knives, ca. 18th Century. From the late 18th century, possibly very early 19th, come this pair of Spanish, single-edged, clip-point blades with decorative silver inlay. Both blades are handsomely engraved on one side, "Puebla de Los Angeles" with one having been dated 1771". On the other sides of the blades, one is engraved Nicolos Antonio Morales and on the other, Diego De Arulia … fabrico. Blades are 10½" long, 24½" overall.
