1850 $10 Liberty. Sm Date NGC AU50. NGC graded AU-50. Mostly untoned with average surfaces for the grade. The Small Date variation is much scarcer than the Large Date of this year and was created when the date logotype intended for half eagles was employed on this eagle die. Date digits this small had not been seen on eagles since 1842, making this issue really stand out. Pop 15; 71 finer. (PCGS # 8604) Estimated Value $900 - 1,000
